Finance Accounts Manager

We are looking for an experienced person who has a background in advanced bookkeeping/ accounting. Looking after the financial accounts on xero for all six of our businesses (Hair, Beauty & Florist Industries). A really exciting role for someone who hasa passion for accounting and improving small business finance processes.
Role to start February 2023- Working from our office at the beautiful Ashridge House.

**What will you do?**
- Use Xero & Excel daily
- Produce basic Cashflow forecasts on Excel once a week (inputting income & outgoing)
- Reconcile bank accounts daily
- Process supplier invoices & check against purchase order system (Stock&Buy)
- Ensure cashing up reports matches income receive
- Liaise with suppliers
- Adhoc Admin duties such as filling out forms, HR records, liaising with suppliers and any other tasks needed
- Help input Payroll hours
- Make payments
- Lead our team of administrators to help with bookkeeping/ reconciliation
**Key Requirements**:
- Very competent in using Xero
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Purchase ledger experience
- High degree of computer literacy in Microsoft Office products specifically Excel
- Commercial awareness
- Great communication
- Creating P&Ls
- Able to read a balance sheet
- Basic cashflow forecasts
- Experience in bookkeeping
- Level 3 or higher AAT
