Summary

The Governors of St Oswald's Roman Catholic Primary School are looking for an enthusiastic, committed and caring Teaching Assistant 2b to work as part of an energetic team. The successful applicant will be required to work five days per week, working 1:1 or with small groups to support the classroom teacher in establishing a stimulating and productive environment to support pupil needs, facilitating equality of access to the curriculum.

The post is 30 hours per week, term time only plus 5 days for inset days. Please note that the salary quoted is full time equivalent, and salary will be paid on a pro rata basis. St Oswald's is a small Catholic Primary School which is committed to raising standards of achievement. We have wonderful children, supportive parents, dedicated staff and Governors. We need someone who will challenge and inspire our pupils and build on the nurturing environment in our school.

Essential Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or above qualification appropriate to the post.
- GCSE Grade 4 - 9 (C or above) in English and Maths

Desirable Qualifications
- Other qualifications relevant to the post
- NVQ Level 3 or above qualification appropriate to the post.

Essential Experience
- Experience of working with or caring for children with SEND/Autism
- Experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age
- Experience of working in a relevant classroom/service environment

Desirable Experience
- Experience of Administrative work
