Assistant Treasurer

Large Private Equity backed business are seeking an Assistant Treasurer to join this large dynamic business

Reporting into the group treasurer you will assist with projects, whilst leading and developing a team of 3 treasury accountants in this fast paced, demanding role

Other core duties will include
- Banking operations
- Liquidity management
- Cash flow forecasting
- Risk Management of foreign exchange
- Risk Management of interest rate and commodities
- Oversight on treasury systems and processes
- Develop the strategy, systems and processes for foreign exchange risk management, commodity hedging and other financial risk management.
- Provide leadership and oversight to cash forecasting and daily cash management, building strong relationships with banks, transacting treasury deals in accordance with Treasury Policy to reduce risk and maximise value for the company.

Ideally you will have the following
- A technical understanding of financial markets, derivative instrument mechanics and valuations
- Thorough knowledge of Treasury systems and control frameworks
- A Professional Qualification in Treasury (AMCT or MCT)
- Previous experience working within a corporate or financial services treasury function in a market facing role
- An Ability to influence senior stakeholders and work constructively with colleagues across the business at all levels
- Demonstrable team management experience as a motivating and inspiring leader
