Structural Steel Detailer

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**TITLE: STRUCTURAL STEEL DETAILER (EXPERIENCED)**

**REPORTS TO**:TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

**DEPARTMENT**:CAD OFFICE

**KEY TASKS AND DUTIES**

1) Preparation of Tekla models from Architects and Consulting Engineers drawings and/or IFC models.

2) Incorporating connection design calculations.

3) Liaising with Architects, Engineers and Main Contractors (including site meetings).

4) Preparation of GA drawings and workshop drawings.

5) Carrying out the above in accordance with all Health & Safety, Quality, BIM and C.E. Marking procedures.

Desirable Criteria:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Tekla software experience essential.
- Ability to work with the minimum of supervision.
- Highly motivated with good verbal and communication skills.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office (Word / Excel), Outlook.

Salary negotiable depending on experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

- Day shift
- Overtime

- BALLYNAHINCH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Tekla: 5 years (preferred)
