The Opportunity

QBE Europe is looking for recruit a Head of Business transformation Consulting to lead an established team in our London office focused on delivering an internal consultancy service and ensuring improved experience and maximised value of change. The role requires strong skills as a coach, facilitator, leader, influencer, and strategist.

Your new role- Lead the team of senior to mid
- level Internal Consultants that:
- Support the business with strategic initiatives as required, in particular where the internal capacity doesn’t exist in the respective business area or where the initiative spans two or more areas of the business.-
- Provide the business with structure, advice, and guidance and share best practice learnings as they work through new ideas and strategies.-
- Ensure that Business Cases approved for funding are appropriately articulated to deliver the intended benefits and beneficial outcomes for customers, and that there is a good awareness of the risks of the program achieving success and that those risks themselves are reasonable and understood by the key stakeholders.-
- Direct, organize, develop, and manage the Business Transformation Consulting team to ensure that people and processes are aligned with business needs and are fit for purpose. Including refreshing the engagement model and establishing clear accountabilities with business transformation representatives and the delivery teams within Transformation & Technology.- Promote excellence through the attraction, continual development, and retention of a high-quality team with the knowledge, skills, behaviours, and engagement levels to deliver excellent outcomes and service.- Work closely with the Business Architecture and Transformation Office leaders to provide joined-up oversight of the content of the EO Change portfolio with focus on the content and benefits of each programme.- Develop and maintain relationships of trust with senior leaders across the business to provide excellent client focus- Consult with and present to the Executive Management Board and other decision-making forums as required to develop the EO transformation agenda.- Bring external perspectives and business insights on latest market developments through attending and participating in industry seminars and reading relevant publications.- Play a key role, alongside other senior leaders within Transformation & Technology, in the shared leadership of the team, and its evolution and continuing effectiveness to support EO’s Transformation priorities.
