Service Care Solutions currently have a vacancy for a Litter Picker and Waste Operative based in the Tyneside area.

The main responsibilities will include
- Sweep or litter pick highways / Pathways / Hard surfaces / Bus shelters / Steps
- Report and clear spillages and remove of drug related litter and dead animals
- Emptying / siting of dog / grit / litter bins.
- Assist in winter maintenance operations - grit bins, clearing pathways

**For this role, you must have**
- Be physically fit and able to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Have an understanding of the importance of health and safety and the ability to work safely.
- Have the ability to create a really good impression on our customers and enhance the reputation of the Council
- Have the ability to work as part of a team and to work flexibly to achieve the high standards we set for our services.
- Be able to work early, late or at weekends as required.
- Have a Driving Licence

The working hours for this role will be Monday - Thursday 07:30 - 16:00 and Friday 7:30 - 12:30
