**JOB OVERVIEW**

To support the fulfilment team in its mission to be the UK’s most trusted and customer focused supplier of vaping products for both businesses and direct customer around the world. A supervisor is responsible for the people and the processes involved in one designated area of fulfilment; Retail, Premier, Wholesale or Dispatch. A supervisor focuses on the welfare of all team members as well as ensuring consistent strong shift execution towards key business objectives.

**MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Take ownership of the key metrics in your area; OTIF, Quality, Absence, Productivity and Safety.
- Deliver direct conversations with colleagues relating to the above.
- Deploy resource into Pick/Pack to match incoming orders, reviewing hourly orders and ensuring headcount is moved quickly to achieve to solve customer demand.
- Work closely with and communicate any issues with the other supervisors, managers, and head of fulfilment.
- Oversee the receipt of parcels and deliveries, unpacking and checking against delivery paperwork for accuracy.
- Organise shipping with the dispatch team to ensure orders are delivered in alignment with customer expectations.
- Review previous days performance and investigated opportunities for improvement.
- Become the expert in the area to support dealing with colleague queries and supporting with problem orders.
- Continuously revise and improve on departmental SOP’s.
- Deliver daily briefings to communicate important information to your team.
- Maintain a high level of housekeeping and cleanliness in your department.
- Prioritize handovers for incoming shifts.
- Ensure the onboarding of new headcount is delivered to a high standard.
- Regular coaching/training of colleague working in your area.
- Assist with stock checks when required.
- Assist the Warehouse Operatives on occasion by picking, packing, and despatching orders.
- Maintain all warehouse IT equipment to include printers and PCs.
- Support the aims and ethos of the Company, setting a good example in terms of dress, behaviour, punctuality, and attendance.
- Promote and ensure the good reputation of the Company both inside and outside of work.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures within the defined timescales.
- Undertake any other tasks which can be reasonably expected in relation to the role.
- Support covering manager/team leader position during absence.
- Develop knowledge and understanding across other functions in fulfilment and support areas if required.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience of supervising individuals, directly dealing with sometimes difficult conversations.
- Exposure to warehouse health and safety
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good manual handling skills
- Good IT skills and able to use handheld scanning equipment
