Brewer

Here at Tintagel Brewery, we have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our small but passionate brewery production team.

We currently have a 10BBL manual kit based in a purpose-built barn along with a brewery shop, on-site restaurant and bar. Situated in a stunning location with sea and countryside views.

**Key responsibilities**:
Full brewery operations from raw ingredients to finished product - ensuring beer is within required specifications.

Yeast management of our own yeast.

Ensuring consistency of products and carrying out quality control checks throughout.

Accurate record keeping, stock control and brew house schedule/planning.

Following and continuing to develop HACCP plan and all criteria for SIBA accreditation.

Maintaining all brewery equipment and bringing to light any issues that need to be addressed.

Packaging of beers to various packaging types. (Mainly cask.)

Helping out with brewery tours and other ‘meet the brewer’ type events.

Representing the brewery at meetings and events.

**Requirements**:
Willing and can-do attitude towards their work.

IBD General Certificate or equivalent desirable but not essential

Able to work independently and efficiently.

Team player with a strong work ethic who can ‘pitch in’ with other aspects of the business if required.

Confident speaking to the public, suppliers, partners and representing the business.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to problem-solve and make decisions when needed.

Ability to lift casks/kegs comfortably.

Computer literate.

Right to live and work in the UK

Full time available although working days/hours can be partly flexible. We support a good work/life balance.
