**THE ROLE**:
**Infrastructure Engineer**
**THE SALARY**:
Dependant on experience, plus on call allowance.
**HYBRID WORKING**
This role is hybrid with a requirement to travel to our offices in Gerrards Cross 2-3 days a week.

**YOUR RESONSIBILITES WILL INCLUDE**:

- You will be involved in long term projects including onboarding of acquisitions, SD-WAN and voice deployments
- Support and facilitate the progression of IT led and Business led projects for all infrastructure related tasks.
- Troubleshoot and correct issues relating to server, network, cloud and telephony Infrastructure and ensure all divisions maintain EV Cargo standards for Server OS and cyber security vulnerabilities.
- Configure and deploy network/infrastructure equipment to EV Cargo standard configurations.
- Provide out of hours on-call support for IT infrastructure issues that significantly impact the operation
- Research, document, recommend and implement changes to the IT infrastructure to improve reliability, security, supportability, and performance
- Occasionally travel to support any EV Cargo Sites

**OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE**:
**Qualifications.** You will have your GCSE Maths and English Level 4 (Grade C) and above - desirable not essential.
**Experience.** Experience in a similar role is beneficial, have the ability to understand and create PowerShell scripts, have knowledge of virtualisation platforms such as Hyper-V and VMWare, A strong desire to maintain a reliable IT infrastructure usingdocumentation, careful planning and automation Experience of administering Microsoft Server and desktop operating systems including concepts such as Active Directory and Group Policy Good knowledge of administering Office365, Azure Active Directory and AD.
