Role: Network Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Hindlip

**Salary**: £43,254 - £48,546 Plus a 10% market supplement

Contract: Permanent

The main purpose of the role is to provide a high level of technical support across West Mercia Police; both to internal and to external customers. You will ideally be in 3rd or 4th line support currently with an in-depth understanding within your areasof expertise as well as a general understanding of wider technologies.
- Cisco Switching
- LAN/WAN
- IP Routing
- VOIP / Enterprise Telephony
- Enterprise Firewalls
- Web Proxies and filtering

Other desirable areas:

- Cryptography and security principles
- Security threats and mitigations
- VPNs
- Remote Access Solutions
- Load balancers (Including GSLB)
- Cloud / Microsoft Office 365 - (such as: DNS, Azure, Migration and administration.)
- It would be desirable for you to have some people management experience.

**This role will be part of an on call rota and additional allowances will be paid.This is a hybrid working role.
