**An excellent opportunity has arisen for an electronics engineer with hardware design experience to join a South London manufacturer and take ownership of the electronics product development.
Do you want to progress your career within a well-established and rapidly growing company, that are continually developing and investing in themselves?**
In this role you will play a vital role in the design and development of the company's electronics range. You'll play an active part in understanding both the products, as well as the customers' needs and specifications. You'll work closely with both the managingdirector and a small electronics and engineering team, taking ownership of the electronics product development. You will also provide mentoring and support to the staff that test, repair and produce the products.
**This is a great opportunity for an experienced electronics engineer to bring their enthusiasm and knowledge to an expert team, and grow their career within a rapidly expanding company.**:

- **The role**:_
- Head up the design of the electronics products; producing concept designs, calculations, reports and estimate project costs
- Develop and expand the product range; identifying and analysing customer and target market needs
- Mentor and support the technical staff; regular training, project supervision and support with career development

- Embedded C Programming
- Digital communication protocols (RS232, RS485, USB, Ethernet, CAN)
- Analogue and digital circuit design and the A/D interface
- Schematic capture and PCB layout
- EMC compliance
