Mammographer

To undertake Mammography as aSpecialitywithin the Breast Unit, and work as part of a Multidisciplinary team
- To undertakeExtended Rolesas a Mammographer: (see points 42-45 below)
- To conduct diagnostic mammographic examinations, producing high quality diagnostic images: - upon a range of patient types
- both as an autonomous mammographic practitioner and as part of a multi-professional team
- in a manner that meets professional, departmental & legal standards and requirements
- To be responsible for a high standard of patient care to include a diverse range of patients
- To independently assess each patient and adapt radiographic techniques according to the needs of the patient
- To use professional discretion and experience to ensure that best clinical practice is maintained
