Beacon Roadways has been a general haulage transport company for over 40 years and is also part of a Pallet Network. We cover deliveries and collections into some of the DY, WV & B postcodes for and on behalf of both the TPN Pallet Network and Pallex Pallet Network. Our Team are currently recruiting for a Part Time Transport Administrator to join our busy growing Sales Team. The required hours of work are a minimum of 20hours, Wednesday to Friday.

Ideally; Wednesday 1pm-5pm, Thursday 9-5pm and Friday 9-5pm.

**Key responsibilities will include;**
- Processing consignments
- To work hand in hand with the operations team
- To answer incoming phone calls from other depots and advise ETA’s etc
- To liaise with drivers regarding deliveries and collections
- Liaising with customer’s daily regarding discrepancies and customer service issues
- To work hand in hand with the sales team, looking after existing and new customers
- Processing claims
- Chasing POD's
- Uploading drivers paperwork
- Quoting customers for pallet/full load deliveries
- Assisting accounts team with pricing, invoicing and queries
- General admin work

**Measures of Performance will include;**
- All claims processed timely for customers and correct information sourced
- POD's and Adhoc charges processed weekly
- Invoicing priced and processed weekly

**About You**

**We’ll also expect you to have;**
- Ability to manage own time effectively to meet targets and deadlines
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office
- Be able to adapt to suit the needs of Pallet Network and General Haulage customers
- Be able to deal with customer service issues in a professional and calm manner
- Have the ability to work under pressure and demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic and resilient approach
- Excellent time management skills are essential

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From £11.42 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
