**_Responsibilities_**_: _**

As a quality Inspector, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance across the site, with an expectation of flexibility in undertaking responsibilities with the need of the business.

To ensure that products are manufactured in accordance with company procedures and to ensure conformity and supporting paperwork is supplied with relevant specifications.

Support the inspection of the product at various stages of production. Including raw material and finished components at supplier premises, right through to final inspection in order to identify non conformities in line with company procedures.

To work in a team and alone to support with the auditing process (internal and external), all general office duties within the QA office and support the company with development of Quality Gate principles.

Ability to visually inspect materials, welds, dimensions, painting processes and mechanical and electrical inspections. Perform MPI and UT inspections as required.

Confident and competent in the use of measuring equipment, interpretation of engineering drawings and the collection of performance data.

**_Requirements_**_: _**

Back ground in manufacturing and or quality related activities

The job holder will be methodical, logical and able to communicate information clearly at all levels.

Member of a professional institute (TWI, CQI, NACE, IIW, CMI etc)

Excellent time management skills and IT skills will be required.

Visual inspection CSWIP 3.0 minimum

As part of the role it will be necessary for the job holder to travel within the UK, Europe and beyond in order to perform the role as required.
