**Role Summary**
The primary function of the Onshore Inspection Coordinator will be to provide Inspection support services to a variety of IRM projects. As Onshore Inspection Coordinator you will liaise with multiple departments to ensure final client deliverables are achieved on time and on budget. In addition, you will support the Inspection Manager in developing and enhancing the Film-Ocean inspection capabilities. A key part of the role will include developing and maintaining strong relationships with external clients and third parties, while supporting Project Managers with planning, technical input, scheduling and offshore resource allocation to meet project deliverables and provide support with tenders and proposals.
**Key duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:
- Support offshore operations during mobilisation/demobilisation phases, including the setup and testing of inspection equipment (there will potentially be a requirement to occasionally work offshore as an Inspection Coordinator)
- Interpret work scopes to ensure the required inspection resources are identified to provide project timelines to allow Cost Time Resources (CTR’s) to be accurately forecasted
- Schedule project resources to meet specific assigned projects and provide pre-project briefs to inspection personnel prior to mobilisation
- Monitor project assigned resources and work progress including regular contact with offshore inspection personnel to ensure that client deliverables are understood and being delivered
- Review and update work schedules to show current progress and any change to forecasted completion of works
- Develop enhanced subcontractor relationships and demonstrate benefits to clients Deliver improvements in our inspection capabilities Support to IRM projects globally
- Act as focal point for reporting requirements, including the writing of final inspection reports and processing of digital video reporting Provide technical support on inspection techniques
- Develop new inspection specific service lines Develop working relationships with key suppliers Ensure all project activities are carried out safely and comply with client requirements and current legislation
- Assist the Inspection Manager and Project Managers with planning to meet project goals and deliverables
- Assist with research in technology developments relating to inspection techniques (i.e. remote inspection, image recognition)
- Training personnel on maintenance of inspection equipment Competence and performance evaluation of offshore inspection personnel
- Undertake any other associated tasks as the Company may reasonably require.
**Qualification/Experience**
- Knowledge or experience of working with Subsea IRM projects (is essential)
- Working knowledge and experience of computerised inspection management systems i.e. - COABIS, NEXUS, DIGITAL EDGE, VISUALSOFT is desirable
- Involvement, or experience of working onboard offshore installations with ROV's on inspection of pipelines and structures (is desirable)
- Must hold valid offshore survival and medical certification
- Must hold a valid CSWIP 3.4U inspection qualification
- Experience of offshore inspection operations is desirable
- Ideally hold a degree level qualification within an Engineering discipline
- Sound understanding of project operations Structures and cost control
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, including Excel, Project and Access

**Essential/Desirable requirements**
- At least 5 years’ experience a crewing role
- Knowledge of crewing software of Business Management System
