Hotel Night Supervisor

Meldrum House Country Hotel and Golf Course are looking for a Night Supervisor to join the team.

This is a full-time role working a 4 nights on 4 nights off pattern, normally 10pm to 7am.

The main purpose of this role is to provide security and a friendly service to all our guests whether they are staying over or attending for the purpose of dining out or an event.

Main duties will include:

- Hotel security and guest welfare at night
- Conducting regular floor walks and security checks of fire exits and public areas
- Assist in the setting up and servicing of event rooms
- Being aware of weekly business in the hotel & maximise every sales opportunity for food, beverage, and rooms
- Creating a warm and welcoming environment for our guests
- Preparation and delivery of any late room service requests
- Resolving any guest grievances satisfactorily
- Evacuating hotel in the event of an emergency
- Reception duties including billing when necessary
- Providing a thorough handover to the next shift
- Adhering to all cash and safe procedures
- Allocating duties to and the supervision of the night porters on shift

Experience in a similar role is desired but not essential.
