The Role:
The Revenues Team is part of the Council's Finance Directorate administering the Council Tax billing, collection and recovery function for approximately 158,000 properties with an annual value of around £240m. The role will involve being the main point of contactfor Council Tax payers who contact the team with a broad range of enquiries.
You will be involved in all aspects of Council Tax administration. This is an exciting opportunity in an ever-changing revenues environment where you will continue to learn and develop your skills and experience, with opportunities for career progression.
We are looking for dedicated individuals who can demonstrate the ability to organise and prioritise workloads, work under pressure to deadlines with conflicting demands and deal confidently with a full range of requests responding in a mature and courteousmanner in sometimes difficult situations. You must have a good general level of education demonstrating numeracy and literacy, NVQ Level 2 standard or equivalent.

Essential requirements:
We are seeking individuals with experience in general administration and customer service delivery to work in our busy Revenues Team with an ability to follow policies and administrative practices and procedures to meet targets and deadlines.
