Job Description

**Responsibilities**:
To assist the Head of Risk & Assurance with the planning and performance of audit assignments and risk assessments, including:

- Performing audits in accordance with established methodology and within agreed timeframes.
- Creating or assisting in the creation of planning documentation, such as scoping documentation and audit programmes.
- Under limited supervision, performing audit procedures, such as: interviews, identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analysing evidence, and documenting processes.
- Evaluating current auditing procedures and propose changes as needed.
- Preparing, or assisting in the preparation of drafts audit reports, which include the development of clear, constructive, and actionable management actions to address the risks identified.
- Communicating or assisting in communicating the results of audit and consulting projects via written reports and oral presentations to management.
- Supporting the Head of Risk & Assurance with reporting required for the Audit Committee.
- Performing other related work or audit assistance as assigned by Head of Risk & Assurance.
- Developing and maintaining productive (yet independent) relationships throughout the Company and within the department.
- Pursuing professional development opportunities including external and internal training and professional association memberships and sharing information gained with colleagues across the Global Governance team.

**Requirements**:

- Professional qualifications - ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIIA (completed or nearly completed)
- Experience in undertaking internal audit reviews, or process improvement reviews
- Experience in working with global listed companies in an accounting or auditing capacity
- Undergraduate degree

Experience and skills
- Effective interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and an ability to communicate effectively with both an internal and external audience
- Strong written communication skills (including experience in report writing)
- Strong organisational skills and the experience to continually prioritise and respond to the changing needs of the business
- Strong analytic and problem-solving capabilities to identify the root cause and solutions and recommendations that effectively address business and control needs
- Requires commitment to excellence and continual improvement
