Here at **HM Land Registry,** we have an exciting opportunity availablefor an **Infrastructure Engineer (WebOps).**You will join us on flexible working, full-time or part time basis and in return,you will receive a competitive salary of **£38,552 - £40,861 per annum. An IT allowance (non-pensionable) of £4,609 is also payable.**

We now have two opportunities for you to join us as an **Infrastructure Engineer (WebOps)**to join our Digital, Data and Technology team to help us to achieve this.
You will join our award-winning Digital, Data and Technology Directorate which is the in-house IT division at the heart of the move to a digital, data-driven organisation with the ambition to provide our customers with cutting-edge digital services.
You will be part of the IT Operations Practice, which is responsible for the performance and delivery of all technical infrastructure which underpins and supports the organisation. It consists of a number of technical teams which provide support, monitorand operate technical solutions.
**Key responsibilities for theInfrastructure Engineer (WebOps)**:
You will take the lead of Infrastructure tasks relevant to the WebOps specialism making decisions on technical options and direction. Part of the role will involve engaging with other Technical Leads, Delivery Leads, Service Managers and Architects to deliverbusiness as usual activities, work packages and strategic planning.
As a technical and behavioural role model, you will take forward technical consolidation and/or improvement activities, whilst providing guidance and leadership to technicians within your area and wider to support and deliver solutions in line with the Technologyand Business Strategies and continual improvement of the practise and the IT Operations community.
**What we’re looking for in ourInfrastructure Engineer (WebOps)**:
To meet the requirements for this role, you can demonstrate strong leadership through coaching or mentoring and have well-developed interpersonal skills and can work effectively as part of a team. You have the ability to automate task using software developmentlanguages, including experience of using a pipeline to prove the automation before running in production environment.
You are able to demonstrate and evidence high level planning and managing technical change, whilst gathering technical information, analysis and problem solving. Effective communication skills, including the ability to interact and build working relationshipswith engineers and other stakeholders are essential.
In addition, you will have an in-depth knowledge, proven expertise and practical experience in at least three of the following areas:
- Linux operating systems
- Continuous Integration processes and tools
- DevOps practises and processes
- Architecture Design
- AWS cloud platform
- Kubernetes
- JBoss EAP
- Platform components including databases, message-queuing and container hosting.
Holds a qualification in Information Technology or a related area (Degree Level or equivalent) and / or experience in an IT field.
