Smarty Paws is offering just that

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Bathing, shampooing & conditioning dogs using specialised products such as de-shedding treatments.
- Drying dogs
- Prepping/grooming/finishing dogs to a high standard so that they are ready for trimming
- De-matting dogs’ hair
- Clipping/scissoring dogs’ hair to conform to a variety of breed-specific standard styles
- Maintaining excellent salon presentation and high standards of cleanliness, safety and housekeeping in the salon, including making sure the salon stays as calm and quiet as possible
- Communicating with customers, answering the telephone, and scheduling appointments
- Taking payments (cash and card)

**What we’re looking for**:

- Minimum level 3 city and guilds qualification in dog grooming or equivalent or at least 2 years of professional dog grooming experience
- Be able to complete a minimum of 4 full grooms per day
- Experience working with a variety of dog breeds
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently or as a team and manage a busy schedule
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- someone who can vibe with the team

**Salary**: £12.00 per hour
