**Engineering Training Officer both Tutor/Assessor.**

Full time position with **North Staffordshire Engineering Group Training Association.**

We have experienced current staff, who you will work with and form part of the NSEGTA training and development team.

A qualified engineer with a passion for excellence, working as a training officer you will be involved with the development and training for a wide variety of people, both young and old with both apprenticeship standards, and qualifications.

An interest in training with a knowledge of apprenticeship / standards. Experience of apprenticeship training delivery holding a D32/33 / A1 or assessor qualification would be a distinct advantage but not essential as training could be given.

Knowledge of ofsted requirements and the education and skills funding agency requirements will be important to know or learn quickly.

Trust is a key issue as you will work on your own a great deal of the time when out at apprentice companies, you will be dealing with all levels of people in the engineering field, from the company director or foreman and of course the apprentice supporting and monitoring them through their apprenticeship.

You will be expected to delivery part of the curriculum based on your qualifications and experience

You will also be expected to work with our recruitment team to ensure apprentice numbers continue and are sustainable.

Salary dependant on experience. Ranging from 25k - 31k
