Breakfast/tea Assistant

Maidstone, United Kingdom Fairlawn Residential Home Full time

Duties include assisting residents with breakfast, preparing tea, porridge, cereal and toast: preparing and serving the teatime meal: clearing up after meals and doing the washing up: ensuring the kitchen and dining area is prepared for all meals and kept in a clean and tidy condition.

The successful applicant will need to adhere to all health and safety policies and attend all mandatory training courses.

Working hours are arranged according rota, include every other weekend and are as follows:
Week 1: 7.5 hours per week (3x Weekday Shifts 4:00-6:30pm)

Week 2: 17 hours per week (2x Weekday shifts 4:00-6:30pm and 2x Weekend Shifts 7:30am-1:30pm)

Wages will be discussed at interview and the successful applicant will need to supply an enhanced DBS disclosure, the expense of which will be met by the applicant. The employer has claimed an exception under the Equality Act 2010.
