Acorns Children's Hospice are now looking for a Central Care Administrator to support the work of the Care Senior Leadership Team.

**About the role**

As a Central Care Administrator, you will assist the Care Administration Manager to implement an annual plan of Care department meetings and commitments, assist the Care administration manager in the implementation of new processes and procedures and reviewing existing processes and procedures as required. You will make sure preparation of departmental and cross departmental documentation ensuring all documents are formatted in accordance with organizational standards. At times this will necessitate liaison with the Marketing and Communication departments to ensure documentation meets set standards.

You will ensure version control is adhered to and provide administrative support to the running of nominated meetings, including producing agendas and taking minutes where required. You will also assist in handling care correspondence both electronically, verbally and paper based. You will be actively supporting good communication practices within your work and promote and maintain good teamwork.

You will act as an ambassador for Acorns, raising awareness of its charitable aims and objectives and enhancing its reputation through exemplary behavior, conduct and team working.

**About you**

You will have previous administrative experience, experience of database administration and excellent organizational skills. You will have the ability to maintain confidentiality and remain calm under pressure. Along with this you will be able to develop and maintain professional working relationships with peers, managers, volunteers, and external contacts. You will be able to travel independently across the Acorns region. You will have a positive, enthusiastic approach with a can-do attitude.

**What we offer**
- £22,000 to £23,500 per annum
