Head Housekeeper

Sedbergh School is seeking to appoint a Cleaning Supervisor to join the current House Keeping Team.

The applicant should be an experienced cleaning team leader or an existing experienced house-keeping assistant or cleaner looking to advance their career, take more responsibility and gain experience from a well-established leadership team.

Key aspects of the role
- Lead the cleaners in a well-established School cleaning team in School buildings and boarding houses
- Develop and build positive relationships and a positive attitude with the team/colleagues
- Work with the Cleaning Manager on ensuring that the whole site is cleaned, and staff understand their weekly duties
- Conduct cleaning audits (inspections) and ensure that any issues are dealt with appropriately
- Project a professional image and be positive and friendly.

This is a permanent, full time position. Details about this vacancy are as follows:

- 40 hours per week
- Starting Salary: Up to £22,000 based on experience
