Established in 2020, we acquired our first venue in May 2021 and now operate 7 unique venues in Norfolk, with our 8th due to open later this month. **THE VENUE**

The position will be based at The Crown, Smallburgh, a village pub with restaurant, spacious beer garden and letting rooms. The focus at this venue is on great value with friendly service.

**THE ROLE**

Due to internal promotion, we are on the look out for a customer focused bar & restaurant team leader to work with the General Manager and play their role in the leadership team. Comfortable with both day to day operational management plus all of the admin that comes with it the role will include:

- Setting the operational standards, leading by example
- Making a welcoming environment not only through people but in how the business looks and feels
- Making sure that our food & drink is always of the highest quality before it reaches the customer & resolve any issues proactively
- Leading events & entertainment nights making sure that acts are booked, managed and supported whilst with us, and hosting nights such as quiz nights
- Training, motivating and retaining a talented team of individuals who can deliver the vision for the pub and welcome our customers over and over again
- Creatively reaching sales targets by planning activity to match peaks and troughs in expected sales
- Controlling all costs in the business such as payroll, stock control/GP & consumables
- Supporting the wider group by taking on a champion role and supporting our future growth

**THE PERSON**
- Customer focused bar & restaurant supervisor
- Experience of working in a busy seasonal pub, delivering consistent, good quality food, drink and service
- At least 1 year in a duty management role in a similar venue
- An understanding of the local area
- Experience of working directly with the business owners & a small yet growing business (preferred)
- Desire to learn & develop your skills

You'll be joining a small team with big ambitions, in a fun and relaxed environment, serving fresh local dishes and a drinks range sourced locally too. If you have the ambition to there is also the opportunity to take on a bigger role in 6-8 months.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: Up to £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
