Job Title: Serving Staff
Department: Operations
Reports To: Chef

**Salary**: up to £10.42 per hour depending on experience (Minimum wage applicable)

**Full time only: 20-30 hours per week over 5-6 days per week**

**Availability criteria: Monday-Sunday. 11am till 12am, daytime, evening and weekends.**

Main focus of role:
To support the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations to ensure the delivery of the Oodles Chinese brand against our values and commercial targets.

As a serving staff, your main duties will be to take customers orders onto a POS (till), take payment, and fill up the meal boxes. You will have a track record of fast paced restaurants with passion. You should also be a team player with excellent organisational skills.

This will be achieved by delivering a positive difference in our customer’s lives.

You will be expected to demonstrate hard work within a fun environment where passion for excellence, hard work, honesty and determination are the norm.

Job Summary and Mission:
To contribute to Oodles Chinese success by providing world class customer service to all of our guests. To create the Oodles Chinese experience for our guests by providing courteous, prompt service, quality and fresh meals cooked from a wok, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment. Key Responsibilities:

- Follow all health and safety guidelines, policies and procedures and maintain a spotlessly clean working environment.
- Serve, assemble, and package food and beverages for customers to ensure a fast, efficient
- and courteous standard of service
- **Prepare dishes to the highest possible standard for each and every guest.**:

- Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
- Build relationships with fellow team members and deliver World Class Customer Service to our guests.
- Maintain a clean and organised workplace so that employees can locate resources and products as needed
- Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the culture and values of Oodles Chinese
- Anticipates guest and business needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues
- Communicate information to the Manager so that the team can respond as necessary to create a premium environment during each shift.
- Deal effectively with customer complaints and queries in store taking responsibility to resolve these wherever possible.
- Operate at all times with a fair, reasonable and consistent approach. Follow all company and legal procedures.Skills and Qualifications:

- Works quickly and precisely, physical stamina, flexible schedule, good communication skills, organisational skills, team player, leadership skills

Business Requirements:

- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
- Presents oneself professionally, be well groomed; ensure adherence to health and safety rules and quality store operations standards are met or exceeded.
- Must be available to work between the hours of 08:00am and 1:00am and have access to reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
- Able to accommodate flexible working hours which could include evenings and weekends
