**Full Job Description**

As a Housekeeper / Cleaner at Westcourt Bed & Breakfast, your primary responsibility will be maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of our guest rooms. This includes tasks such as changing bed linen and towels, vacuuming carpets, dusting and polishing surfaces, emptying trash, and restocking supplies.

Your shift will typically run from 10:00 am to 1:00 or 2:00 pm for room cleaning. Following this, ironing duties will be expected to be completed.

We operate at full capacity during the season, so availability for 5-7 days per week is necessary, with scheduling flexibility among our housekeeping team. The starting rate of pay is £12.50 per hour, with the potential for wage increase and additional responsibilities based on performance.

The role commences at the beginning of our seasonal opening, from March 29 through mid-November.

**Requirements**:

- Attention to detail to maintain high cleanliness standards
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ideally prior experience in similar roles
- Effective communication skills
- Good time management abilities, punctuality, and ability to work to deadlines
- Capacity to follow instructions and work independently
- Physical capability to handle heavy linen
- Professional appearance and demeanour, with respect for guests and their experience.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
