**Apprentice Gardener**

**Full time 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year**

**This is a fixed term, two-year apprenticeship study programme.**

**About the role**

Are you looking for a career in horticulture? Have you considered an Apprenticeship?

Alongside completing a Level 2 qualification, you will gain experience of working within the industry, working in the grounds and estate at our beautiful Lackham campus, set in 1600 acres of Wiltshire countryside, Lackham is the College’s specialist campus for land-based study.

The role will involve everything horticulture from vegetable plants and tree growing to mowing lawns and general grounds and estate maintenance. You will be required to spend at least 1 day per week studying at college, where you will gain a level 2 qualification. We are looking for an enthusiastic person willing to learn all things horticulture working in a great team of 4 people with additional volunteers and students.

**About you**
- You are a quick learner, prepared to study and complete a qualification alongside working.
- You have experience in working as part of a team and independently.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Good timekeeping.
- Positive can-do attitude and strong work ethic.
