Principal Clinical Biochemist

County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust are seeking a HCPC registered Principal grade Clinical Scientist to join our friendly, dedicated and professional team within Clinical Biochemistry. County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest integrated care providers in England, serving a population of around 600,000 people. We are a high performing organisation with a track record of success. Clinical Biochemistry provides a comprehensive service to the acute hospitals and surrounding primary care networks and commissioning teams from two main sites at Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham.

This is an exciting time to join County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust Pathology Service as it is currently undertaking two major projects (new managed service contract for laboratory equipment and new LIMS) that will see the latest technologies introduced and future proof the service to continue develop excellent services for its patients., in line with regional and national agendas.
