Speech and Language Therapist Specialist

We have some exciting opportunities within our adult SLT team here in Forth Valley.

We are looking for a suitably qualified ambitious clinician to join our adult acute team based in FVRH. You will be working alongside a friendly and supportive team of clinicians who cover the acute site and community services across Forth Valley. FVRH is a busy general hospital and you will be part of the team covering all areas of the site including ICU, and may also contribute to stroke rehabilitation. You will be part of further developing our model of care to ensure assessment and intervention at the earliest opportunity. If you are passionate about providing rehabilitation in the community to keep people well at home or in a homely setting, the development of a new model of rehabilitation in the Falkirk area means that we also have a part time post available. You would be working alongside a great team of colleagues from a range of professions to reduce the impact of communication and eating and drinking difficulties on individuals and their families. A BSc, or equivalent, in Speech Pathology and Therapeutics, is essential, along with registration with the Health and Care Professions Council. Registration with RCSLT is preferred.
