Master Data Steward

What are your responsibilities?
- Monitoring of master data objects supporting the key business activities.
- Creation and on-going maintenance of master data to support cross functional processes.
- Managing key export control, global and local regulatory data elements supporting strong compliance.
- Support of the engineering change control processes towards new product introductions, and lifecycle management.
- Drive master data quality and reporting efficiency across the functions support timely and accurate business reporting including the analysis and insight of results.
- Take an active role within the MDM Governance framework, defining metadata elements of key business data objects, setting policy and standards.
- Supporting business functions with their data quality and identifying ways to improve.

What do you need to be successful in this role?
- An analytical mind with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. The ability to communicate effectively with all business functions. We are looking for a self-starter who can manage their time and workload efficiently whilst cooperating and working with the wider team.
- BSc in Business Studies or other relevant discipline.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP4Hana), Salesforce and Office 365

Great to have?
- Good excel skills (VBA would be advantageous)
- Prior experience in a data management role would be advantageous.
- Experience in manipulating many and large data sets.
- Confident, proactive and results driven
- Worked within a complex multinational manufacturing company
- Virtual teamwork with people and teams in a global setting
- Ability to quickly assimilate in a new team and understand the developing methods, capabilities and tools
- Methodical and thorough approach to tasks
