Job Summary:
Executes internal/external strategic communication activities focused on positioning the company's imaging and messaging consistently and effectively while ensuring employees understand company/business unit strategy and how their role contributes to driving results. Communicates the company’s competitive advantage using a wide range of communication media to create brand awareness, reinforce key messaging, and enhance the company image to assist in achieving the company’s sales objectives.

Principal Responsibilities:

- Solicits and reviews content submitted for use on all approved social media outlets to ensure all information is accurate and consistent with the company branding and marketing strategies.
- Coordinates media relations and prepares external communications. Supports investor relations by preparing communications for the investing public, shareholders and financial professionals.
- Solicits, reviews submitted content and develops original content for company's internal and external sites.
- Communicates, and may coordinate various internally focused activities such as employee engagement activities, community involvement opportunities, and employee recognition programs/events.
- Prepares communication material for internal and external presentations on programs, services, business plans and management communications.
- Determines and uses the most effective communication media to convey corporate messaging and engage target audience.
- Coordinates with vendors to produce promotional materials, communication collateral, websites and other marketing communications materials.
- Other duties as assigned.

Job Level Specifications:

- Thorough knowledge of principles, theories and concepts in area of discipline. Competent in all job functions and has general understanding of the industry practices, techniques and standards.
- Develops solutions for a variety of situations and works on projects requiring evaluation and analysis. May refer to policies, practices and precedents for guidance; determines best course of action to achieve results.
- Work is performed independently and requires the exercise of judgment and discretion. May receive some limited guidance for new assignments. Work may be reviewed for overall adequacy.
- Collaborates with management and team members within the department/function and other areas of the organization. May represent department internally or externally.
- Actions may impact the success of the overall department and/or the organization. Failure to accomplish work or erroneous decisions may result in delays to projects, loss of revenue or allocation of additional resources to remedy.

Work Experience:

- Typically 3+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.

Education and Certification(s):

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
