**Senior Town Planner**

My client is a highly regarded, independent consultancy offering a range of planning and development related services. Penguin Recruitment is delighted to present the opportunity for a Senior Planner to join their rapidly growing Planning team in Leeds.

The established Planning team specialises in large scale mixed-use regeneration projects, infrastructure, housing and complex development schemes and pride themselves on getting the best outcomes for our clients. They see planning from the client's viewpointand have a pragmatic, proportionate approach.

**_Duties of the role:_**
- You will be a key point of contact for clients, delivering expert planning advice and managing a varied project workload, including major residential, commercial, and mixed-use schemes.
- You will manage and build relationships with new and existing clients, enabling the business to continue to thrive and grow.
- You will play a lead role in client/project meetings and will be responsible for driving development forward.
- RTPI accredited degree or equivalent qualification.
- MRTPI or eligible for membership and in pursuit.
- Extensive planning experience across a range of sectors, ideally within consultancy.
- Knowledge of the planning process, including both development management and local plans.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to mentor and guide more junior members of the team.
