**SEN Learning Support Assistant**

** Up to £450 PAYE per week **

** 'Outstanding' Specialist SEN school dedicated to supporting children with Autism/ASC, Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD) and Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) **

** Guildford, Surrey **

** Full-Time, Term-Time Only **

- This school provides ongoing training CPD courses to help every develop and broaden their knowledge, such as Attention Autism, PECS, Makaton, Intensive interaction and more

**What you can expect as a SEN Learning Support Assistant?**
- Expect to be working in a creative environment where the curriculum is adapted to meet the needs of the children
- Small class sizes of no more than 8 students, with up to 5 Learning Support Assistants per class
- Use various strategies to communicate with children, such as PECs, sign language, Makaton and more
- Be surrounded by friendly and supportive staff that can guide you through and help you with progression into your career
- As a SEN Learning Support Assistant, you can expect to use art, dance, drama and more into the day when interacting with the children

- The ideal Learning Support Assistant must have a bubbly and can-do attitude
- This is an ideal role for anyone who has just finished studying and wants to kickstart their career or even learn something new
- You must be proactive and willing to get stuck in
- The Teaching Assistant must have good communication skills
- Must be able to build strong and meaningful relationships with pupils and staff
- Personal care (feeding and toileting) is required
