**IT 3rd Line Engineer | Greater Manchester / Hybrid | Up £40,000**

As a 3rd Line Engineer, you will work as a member of the IT Support team and report to the Service Desk Manager. You will be in charge of using the ticketing system to promptly address and resolve customer problems.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Service Desk/3rd Line Engineer with strong experience in the MSP industry to join a scaling business at a very exciting stage

**What you’ll do**:

- Providing support and knowledge transfer to Service Desk Engineers
- Establishing a strong rapport with customers, actively looking for ways to provide better customer service and following service level agreements
- On-site assistance, including the delivery of hardware and fundamental setup duties (occasional travel is required for the role).
- Monitoring and troubleshooting complex alerts to prevent downtime
- Advanced administration of Office 365, including installation and troubleshooting
- Windows 10 and Windows 11 advanced troubleshooting for servers and endpoints
- Advanced TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, and VPN troubleshooting while working with Hyper-v
- Setting up and resolving issues with switches, firewalls, and routers, including those made by Cisco, Meraki, and Dell

**About you**:

- A minimum of three years of service/help desk experience
- A UK Driving License
- Experienced and qualified to demonstrate knowledge of Microsoft and Hyperv solutions.
- Articulate, self-assured, and capable of presenting themselves well
- Willingness to travel when necessary as Travel, flexibility in working hours (with paid overtime), and the ability to manage time and resources remotely may be required for the role.
