Located in Tadley, Hampshire, Tadley Court School is an independent co-educational school. We support pupils aged 4 to 19 years, who are diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum with associated learning difficulties. Children may also have behaviours that challenge as a result of their communication difficulties and lack of social understanding.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Understand, share and promote the school’s vision, aims and ethos.
- Be responsible for and oversee the day-to-day planning and delivery of art and design sessions with support from the Deputy Head Teacher (Curriculum/ Teaching and Learning)
- Maintain an exciting and inspirational child-led, art and design curriculum which fits with the school vision and aims.
- Order and maintain equipment and resources in the art/design room and support classes with resourcing class based sessions
- Contribute to the positive reputation of the school by engaging with the wider community.
- Work collaboratively with other staff in the school department and supporting whole school events.
- Promote a culture of inclusion within the school community, place explicit value on diversity in all forms and appreciate all views expressed.
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people, complying with the school’s safeguarding policy at all times and adhering to all other policies set out by the school.
- Promote and understand the school’s Safeguarding policy and adhere to all other policies set out by the school.
