We are recruiting a Wildlife Ranger Supervisor to join FLS East Region Wildlife Management Team, based in the Glen Prosen area. Focussed on the Angus Glens but with regular attendance throughout Highland Perthshire, Deeside and South Aberdeenshire and occasionally throughout the wider East Region
Sustainable herbivore management is vital to ensure the successful delivery of a range of Scottish Government targets on carbon capture, improving habitats and timber production. This role will contribute to the cull and venison sale of approximately 8000 deer per annum across the East Region including Red, Roe and Fallow deer.
The role deliver a range of traditional estate management tasks working in collaboration with the forest craftperson team including fence inspection and maintenance, buildings management including a deer larder, basic maintenance of vehicles and equipment and a representative role.
