The Ruskin Mill Trust Group operates five colleges and associated residential provisions in Nailsworth, Stourbridge, Sheffield, Birmingham, and Pembrokeshire, as well as independent specialist schools in Worcestershire, Bristol, Sheffield and Darlington. **Finance Officer**

Salary Range: FTE £20,934.74 - £25,324.74 per annum - 40 hours per week

Commencement salary dependent upon qualifications, skills and experience.

This post will be based at our site in Nailsworth, near Stroud, Gloucestershire.

We are looking for a Finance officer to work as part of our Corporate Finance Team at Ruskin Mill Trust to support the financial processes including purchase ledger and monthly reconciliations of our Welsh educational provisions and Trigonos, Hospitality and Retreat Centre.

The successful applicant will be expected to embrace, articulate and work with the Trust’s objectives, vision, values, purpose and method, ensuring that the Trust’s paradigm of biodynamic agriculture, Anthroposophical medicine and practical skills education, which is informed by Steiner Education, is maintained, implemented and integrated within the provisions of the Trust.

Duties include:

- To process, pay and file invoices relating to the Hospitality and Retreat Centre, wider Ruskin Mill Trust Group, Colleges or Schools
- To run cheques and/or BACS and ensure suppliers are paid on time.
- Plan and organise work to ensure month end and year end close procedures are adhered to.
- Reconcile supplier statements and deal with queries from various staff members and suppliers.
- To undertake general administrative duties including filing.

What we are looking for someone who is/has:

- Applications from Welsh speaking applicants would be highly desirable although not necessary.
- Experience of working in a Finance Assistant or Finance Officer role
- Experience of managing a diverse workload and meeting strict deadlines
- Ideally completed AAT or equivalent but this is only desirable
