We are currently looking to recruit for a
**Supply Operative** to join our

This position will involve working 12 hour shifts - 4 on / 4 off. The shifts will be 2 days (7AM to 7PM) and 2 nights (7PM to 7AM) then 4 shifts off.

**Key tasks as a Supply Operative**:

- The intake of raw milk from farm collection and bulk tankers.
- Checking and recording of all relevant paperwork.
- The segregation of the raw milk into their various product streams.
- Sampling and testing of raw products.
- Loading cream export bulk tankers.
- Loading recovered milk export tankers.
- Liaising with the other production departments.
- Producing product in a timely and efficient manner.
- Having effective communication with other departments from site leaders to general operatives.
- To run the plant in an efficient manner producing a quality product at the lowest cost.
- Liaising with external departments within the Muller group.

**Muller Responsibilities**:

- Providing a safe to eat product in accordance with all technical specifications.
- Utilizing the plant to run in an efficient manner and reduce all forms of waste.
- To work as a team to to continually improve all processes.
- To utilize Lean problem solving methods.
- To report and act upon unsafe conditions.
- To comment on good behaviors and challenge below standard behaviors.
- Health and safety commitment of self and others
- Looks for “waste” in everything that we do
- Actively seeks out improvement opportunities within the workplace and converts to own operation excellence projects
- Collaboratively works with other team members to improve our business
- Aware of how current performance impacts the bottom line
- Ability to deliver on the job training to new colleagues in an inspiring and empowering way

**Demonstrable skills, experience and knowledge within the following**:

- Experience of processing in a food or drink industry is desirable.
- Experience of working in a FMCG environment.
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
- High performer with a can do approach.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Diligent and methodical in all aspects.
