The position is for one full time officer permanent position (35 hours).
**Role Purpose**
The purpose of this role is to work as part of a small effective team responsible for providing customer facing parking services to the public in respect of the processing of penalty charges and Civil Penalty Notices, including dealing with all enquiries in respect of the issue and processing of such Notices received by the Council in writing to include informal and formal representations together with appeals to the Parking Adjudication Service better known as Environment and Traffic Adjudicators (ETA), which meets the diverse needs of the public and community.
You will be required to carry out a wide range of duties such as, to prepare and collate information for Adjudication cases and Court proceedings. To analyse and prepare written case summaries in accordance with legal and procedural requirements, ensuring comprehensive records of all activities are maintained and regularly updated. To despatch information to the Adjudication service and the appellant in line with the Traffic Management Act 2004, where necessary.
You also need to be a good team player and maintain and develop an effective working relationship with your colleagues.
You will need good knowledge and experience of relevant software packages ICT Parking Solutions, MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
