**Technical Coordinator**

Are you someone who is passionate about design and providing technical solutions, organised with good detailed drawing skills?

At **Scotframe** we are hiring for a **Technical Coordinator **to work in our **Technical Department** based at either our Inverurie, Dundee, Inverness or Cumbernauld sites. The Technical Coordinator will be in a team of two, who both report into the Technical Manager and will work closely with the Sales, Estimating, Design and Administration teams.

In the role, The Technical Coordinator will be required to assist the Senior Technical Team with thermal solutions and technical detailing to meet current and future needs of customers. Liaise with all departments and clients to uphold Scotframe reputation for quality and customer service. Assist with the developing and growing the Thermal Solutions business within Scotframe and the wider Saint-Gobain OSS brands.

**What you will be doing**:

- Produce clear and concise standard detail drawings with sound interpretation and understanding of stakeholders standards and building regulations in Scotland, England and Wales.
- Review and comment on non-standard detailing to ensure it meets Scotframe standards.
- Assist with providing internal guidance / advice on technical matters
- Produce thermal engineering solutions using SAP 10.2 and SAP 2012 Elmhurst software.
- Identify areas for improvement in processes and practices and recommend improvements to support unrivalled customer service.
- Produce robust U-Value calculations

**What are we looking for?**
- Previous SAP Elmhurst software experience with the ability to produce SAP calculations
- HNC / HND / Degree Building qualification or equivalent experience
- Previous detailed drawing experience, 2D, and 3D CAD experience
- People management, team player and ability to liaise with stakeholders across the business
- Previous experience of working with Architectural industry
- Previous experience of working with the timber frame sector of the construction industry
