Glazing Estimator

**About us**

Feral Fire & Architectural Glazing Ltd. is a small business based in Banbridge. We fabricate, supply and install a range of bespoke architectural and fire resistant glazing systems to our customers requirements. This includes aluminium and steel solutions for both domestic and commercial properties.

As a Design Engineer you will work as part of a team in the estimating, design and production alongside communicating effectively with contractors, architects, suppliers and clients.

You will be required to:

- Estimate from schedules, elevations and bill of quantities using SchuCal
- Order required materials from suppliers
- On site surveys
- Prepare detailed design drawings for approval using AutoCad
- Prepare fabrication packages for issue onto factory floor

Essential criteria:

- Access to own vehicle
- Hold level 4 qualification or higher in an engineering or construction related discipline
- Use of AutoCad or similiar CAD software

Desireable criteria:

- Direct or relevant experience in the industry

Salary is negotiable and will be dependant upon qualification and experience. Immediate start available.
