**The role**

In this challenging position, you will act as an Account Manager, responsible for looking after fleet customers, providing information including quotes, terms of business and generally encouraging those responsible for fleet purchasing decisions to considerHyundai vehicles over competitors.

The critical success factor, in addition to proactive database management is being able to identify opportunities to provide either a quote or a demonstration vehicle, effectively being a major part of the overall sales team. Through thorough qualificationand building relationships with prospective companies, you will identify sales opportunities.

Attention to detail is of paramount importance.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Account management of existing and new accounts across the UK, either directly with the end user and/or their leasing company account manager, maintaining relationships through regular, targeted contact via telephone and video calls
- Keeping on top of market trends, maintaining product knowledge and understanding competitors current and future products
- Analysing company rate books, vehicle bandings, purchasing methods and tax liabilities to position the brand accordingly
- Making decisions on what level of support to provide customers and submitting bespoke terms to place the brand in the best possible position against competitors
- Managing existing and new relationships
- Working with corporate prospects/accounts with passenger car fleets of 25-100
- Discussing and assessing any historical issues, poor relationships and loss of confidence with lapsed customers
- Work closely with the client National Corporate Sales Manager to review sales results, activity and opportunities, forecasting etc

**Directly relevant experience is an advantage, we are looking for**:

- High levels of attention to detail, particularly with respect to error checking and accuracy with numbers
- Strong IT skills and the ability to manage a database, maintaining CRM hygiene and record keeping
- Strong sales skills, particularly the ability to identify opportunities, cross-sell, objection handling, closing etc.
- Calm and enthusiastic, with a genuine interest in fleet / ability to assimilate the brand quickly and effectively
- Confident, clear and professional communicator, through both verbal and written channels
