**Job title-**Controls Engineer

**Location-** Leicester

**Salary-**£35,000-45,000

**Hours-** 8:30 - 17:30 Monday - Thursday, Friday 8:30 - 12:30

**Job type-**Full time, permanent

**We are currently looking for a highly motivated controls engineer to join our team personal requirements include**:

- Experience in control systems
- Understand the principles behind automatic control, and how it operates. Knowing how to create open-loop and closed-loop control systems that enable the creation of bespoke and accurate control systems.
- The Control engineer should be particularly attentive, ensuring that any programming or functionality testing they complete is reliable.
- Experience on machine tools

**Essential responsibilities include**:

- Programming, managing, and diagnosing communications between the CNC unit and Machine process control hardware on the EDM, Laser. Camera systems.
- Develop control of I/O systems and User Interface / HMI programming
- Basic troubleshooting of the control systems used in the production of cooling holes for Turbine blades etc.
- Meeting health and safety requirements and always following protocol.
