**Software Engineer / Frontend Developer, React, Hybrid Remote**

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer / Frontend Developer to work on an exciting, data-driven, high-performance SaaS product. With the head office in central Oxford and the opportunity to work remotely a couple days a week, this is a great role fora Software Engineer / Frontend Developer who is keen to work with modern technology in a challenging technical environment.

**The Role**

The Software Engineer / Frontend Developer will be working end-to-end on greenfield software development, including scoping requirements, coding, testing, and deploying the software in a DevOps environment. The role will be frontend focused, with 80% ofyour time working extensively with React, however there is also a chance to work on the backend as well.

This role will suit a Software Engineer / Frontend Developer who enjoys working with different technologies, as you’ll be working with React, Node, TypeScript, Python, Java, and SQL. It’s an AWS environment and a Microservices architecture.

**The Company**

Founded by a group of University of Oxford academics, the Software Engineer / Frontend Developer will be joining an incredibly exciting research and software company. Based in central Oxford, their office is easily accessible by public transport.

**What’s Required?**

While it’s hoped you’ll be a great team player, the skills needed for this Software Engineer / Frontend Developer role include:

- Strong experience developing complex software solutions, ideally with React, if not with a similar language
- Experience building microservices / web-services would be highly advantageous
- Cloud knowledge / experience with AWS would be a plus
- Unit testing experience would be beneficial
- Strong problem-solving skills with proven ability to solve difficult technical problems
