Phoenix Therapy and Care provides bespoke support services to children and adults affected by illness, injury and disability. Our current Care Inspectorate rating is ‘very good’ and we pride ourselves on person-centred, empowering and positive values.
We are looking for Support Workers to provide high quality personal care, specialist care and support to a teenager who has a rare medical condition with associated epilepsy and learning disabilities. An important aspect of the job is to plan and facilitate a programme of social activities. The ultimate aim is to support him to achieve a rich and fulfilled life. Whilst formal care experience is not required, an insight into care is an advantage.

If this sounds like you, please get in touch for more information. You will join a brand new care team. There will be two Support Workers working together on day shifts and one working a waking night. We have part-time or full-time contracts.

- permanent contract to work with a specific service user
- minimum of £11.50 per hour with paid holidays
- full induction training programme with ongoing paid training
- assistance to source funding and training provider for appropriate SVQ or HNC courses

- 10 hour shift

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- No weekends
- Weekend availability
- Weekends only
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Gullane: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
