About Us:
Fika By The Sea is a Swedish bakery, producing Swedish cinnamon and cardamom buns, fresh cream cakes and other baked goods, for wholesale and retail in Sussex.

We are launching our wholesale operations and are looking for a great baker to be part of a small team to bake for our wholesale customers across Sussex.

You’ll be responsible for using our tried and tested recipes to put our buns in the hands of customers across Sussex. Come work with nice people in a small business in a period of rapid expansion, producing a line of high quality, unique products in Sussex.

What we are offering:

- 40 hours per week, working 5-6 days per week
- Early morning starts (4-6am to be agreed) with early finishing

About you:

- A positive approach and willingness to learn
- Experience in baking wonderful breads, enriched doughs or Viennoiserie
- An excellent awareness of Health & Safety procedures, allergens and hygiene
- Attention to detail and pride in production
- Happy to work independently
- Adaptability
- Stock management
- A good level of spoken English

Minimum requirements:

- 3+ years' experience as a baker
- References
- Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brighton: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
