Headteacher - L21-L27a plus residential allowance
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Furrowfield School for an inspirational leader to provide dynamic strategic
leadership to take the school to the next stage of its development. Our school has recently undergone rapid change
following a period of turbulence and the school requires a Head Teacher who will be able to lead our team through our
continued journey for success.
The governing body is seeking to appoint a Head Teacher who will embrace the challenge and reward that working at

We are looking for a Headteacher who will:

- Have the ability to continue embedding the successful changes and ensuring traction is maintained

journey
- Demonstrate a commitment to excellent in teaching and learning
- Have a good understanding of working with students with SEMH and additional complex needs
- Relentlessly pursue high quality outcomes for our pupils for their future success

The school also benefits from a Residential Unit which is temporarily closed. The new Headteacher will have
responsibility for the unit and will play a key part in reopening this provision. There is an additional Residential
Allowance paid to the post holder in recognition of this.
