This is a senior management post with a complex and wide-ranging set of responsibilities, encompassing the day-to-day operational management of all supply chain operations, delivering more than £300M procured stock, across all 4 Trust sites, and the line management of 40+ staff dispersed across those areas. The primary output of this role is the delivery of an effective and efficient supply chain service (including R&D, materials management and Inventory Management) to all areas of the Trust, supporting and enabling the clinicians and front line staff in the delivery of the highest possible quality patient care.

The main duties of this job is the leadership and management of a large, diverse, geographically-dispersed team of supply chain professionals in the delivery of an effective and efficient supply chain service to all areas of the Trust. Everything we do is aimed at supporting and enabling the clinicians and front line staff to delivery the highest possible quality patient care.

This is a logistics and supply chain operations management post, requiring a good understanding of stock and inventory management and an ability to get on well with others and work as part of a small team.
