A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Dietetic Assistant to facilitate the dietetic delivery of a brand new Service across Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB). The service aligns to the Welsh Government Building a Healthier Wales strategy at Tier 3, and will offer evidence based opportunities for children & young people in North Wales who wish to lose weight.

The Dietetic Assistants support the Team’s Dietitian, plus the Paediatric Consultant, in the development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of best practice in relation to the Tier 3 Service across the Health Board, working as an integral member of, and in partnership with multi-agency community teams.

You will also remain a key member of the dietetic team, joining an enthusiastic and friendly team of over 80 dietitians delivering services in acute and primary care, and public health. We deliver clinical placements for students, and have secretarial and assistant support.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
